About Silvia Larrave
Born in Guatemala, Silvia Larrave is an international contemporary artist whose work explores color, light, and movement as a bridge between the visible and the spiritual.
Rooted in a contemplative practice, her art reflects a deep reverence for nature as an essential source of balance, meaning, and human well-being. With a multidisciplinary background in graphic design, marketing, transpersonal psychology, and business administration, Larrave has developed a refined visual language in which intuition and structure coexist harmoniously.
Each piece is conceived as an invitation to pause, observe, and reconnect.
Messengers of Hope
Messengers of Hope, her hummingbird collection, emerged from a profound personal transformation and centers on the hummingbird as a symbol of presence, continuity, and transcendence.
These works were born from a process of deep listening, silence, and inner renewal. They do not seek merely to decorate a space, but to infuse it with positive energy and accompany those who find themselves in moments of openness and sensitivity.
At a time when several hummingbird species are increasingly vulnerable, this body of work also serves as a subtle call to awareness — reminding us that the preservation of nature is inseparable from our own inner balance. Through these paintings, Larrave invites viewers to perceive living beings not only as part of the natural world, but as carriers of spiritual significance.
