The Guatemalan Wine-throated Hummingbird (Selasphorus ellioti) is a very small bird, measuring 6.5cm in length. It is among the smallest birds in its range, and also one of the most beautiful . It inhabits mountainous regions,  specifically cloud forests and wooded slopes,often above 2,000 meters high!  This colorful guy brings total harmony to a typical guatemalan landscape of volcanos.
