This multicolored hummingbird (Lamprolaima rhami) is a species native to Mexico and Central America known as the garnet throated hummingbird. Its most striking feature is its brilliant brown wings, which typically shimmer as it flits from flower to flower. It is a large and spectacular hummingbird that inhabits highlands. In Guatemala, it can be seen in "Los Cuchumatanes" mountains at an altitude of 3,700 meters above sea level. They come to feed on the nectar produced by the flowers (Kniphofia uvaria). This hummingbird is a riot of color and grace, and together with the vibrant orange of its flowers, it symbolizes energy, creativity, enthusiasm, and a period of personal transformation or joy.
